Syncro

Syncro (Martino Tempesta) has always had a passion for music and art. He found his love for producing through hip-hop, and under the alias ‘Drum’, produced music for 2C (Chef and Cosmo) and many artists in puglia. His musical journey then lead him to DJing, a hobby which quickly became a part of many people’s lives as he organized Black Chique evenings, where the aim was to promote black music in Puglia. 2012 was a huge milestone for Martino as he decided to go down a more alternative path with his work, thus “Syncro” was born. Since then, he has taken inspiration from the huge wave of new and inspiring electronic music, and has even ranked in the top twelve in Italy for the massive “Make it Bun Dem” remix competition by Skrillex. In 2013, the “Chrono” EP was released with modernity, machines and alienation as themes for the hard-hitting dubstep five-track release. He produces instrumentals for the new Chef album "I come in peace" (Saifam Recordings), works as resident dj of Eremo Club (Giovinazzo, Bari) conquering the audience with a performance full of drama and humor. Halloween 2014, “The Grandfather Paradox” was released with NOK Records (London, UK), which includes the same brain-shaking basslines and mind-bending sounds as “Chrono”, but also lightly seasons the whole recipe with some beautiful soundscapes you can really get lost in. The complexity of time, the importance of split decisions and the future repercussions that occur subsequently was an ongoing theme and message to portray for Syncro while producing this EP. His impeccable electronic opus definitely enlightens and inspires, as you explore the depths of the universe and your inner subsconscious on this mesmerizing trainride of contrasting sounds and visions.
